McClinton Scholars Program – Spring 2026 (Cohort 9)

The McClinton Scholars Program is a semester-long mentorship and leadership development experience for undergraduate students in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. Designed for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the program focuses on providing real-world impact through mentorship, personal development, academic enrichment, and exposure to professional pathways. The program requires active engagement and is structured as a hybrid model, combining in-person and virtual sessions.

Program Structure & Expectations

  • Hybrid Model: The program is approximately 50% in-person (two days per month) and 50% virtual (twice weekly sessions). Meetings are typically held in the evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • Active Commitment: Participants are expected to treat the program with the same seriousness as an academic course. This includes weekly assignments, attendance at all sessions, and consistent communication.
  • Key Deliverables: Scholars must complete a professional certification and a final research project, which will be presented at the end-of-cohort showcase.
  • Mentorship: Each student is paired with a dedicated mentor and is expected to meet with them bi-weekly.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors at a college or university within the Metropolitan Atlanta Area.
  • All Majors Welcome: Students from all academic majors are encouraged to apply.
  • Personality Quiz: As part of the application, applicants are required to complete a personality quiz from 16 Personalities and submit their results.

Application Process

Application Deadline: December 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM EST.

  • Interviews: December 18th – 22nd, 2025.
  • Decision Letters Released: December 27th, 2025.
  • Orientation: January 10th, 2026.

The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and requires personal information, emergency contact details, quiz results, and short responses reflecting the applicant’s motivation and goals.
