Financial Benefits
- Grant Amount: Successful applicants can receive up to $25,000 CAD in funding.
- Funding Use: The grant can be utilized to support a specific project or address urgent operational needs of the organization.
- Renewal: An organization may receive funding for the same project for up to two consecutive years, after which a 24-month waiting period is required before reapplying for the same project.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Organization Type: Be a registered Canadian charitable organization in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- Mission: Have a primary mission centered on the health, well-being, or development of children and youth.
- Geographic Focus: Programs and services must primarily benefit children and youth within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Operational History: Have operated for a minimum of three years prior to application.
- Financial Stability: Provide evidence of financial stability, strong governance, and capacity for impact measurement.
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Show a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in their programs and organizational practices.
- Revenue Preference: Preference is given to organizations with annual revenue between $1 million and $5 million.
Ineligible Activities and Organizations:
- Salaries or benefits for permanent staff.
- Projects primarily benefiting individuals outside Canada.
- Retroactive funding or reimbursement for expenses already incurred.
- Organizations not registered charities in Canada.
- Entities with primary activities outside children’s health and well-being.
- Organizations unable to demonstrate fiscal responsibility and impact measurement capabilities.

- Application Period: Applications are accepted from November 3, 2025, to January 20, 2026.
- Application Deadline: January 20, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST.

- Complete the eligibility form to confirm your organization’s qualifications.
- Provide organization details, including your CRA registration number.

- Submit your application before the deadline. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt.
- Notification: Applicants will be notified of funding decisions within three months of the application deadline.
- Reporting: Grant recipients must commit to providing a final impact report one year after receiving funding.
