The International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) is hosting its Feminist Economics School from July 6-8, 2026, at Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia. This program is designed for early-career scholars, practitioners, activists, and policymakers who may not have had prior access to formal training in feminist economics. The curriculum aims to bridge economic theory with practical application and will feature two days of interactive workshops, foundational seminars on feminist economic theory and methodologies, and practical exercises on policy analysis and economic justice. IAFFE particularly encourages applications from Indigenous communities, marginalized groups, and individuals whose work focuses on advancing equality and justice in economic thought and practice. Immediately following the school, the 34th Annual IAFFE Conference will also be held at ICESI University in Cali, Colombia, from July 9–11, 2026.
Eligibility:
- Applicants should have completed an undergraduate degree or possess five years of relevant work experience in areas related to feminist economics.
- Basic English proficiency is required.
Benefits:
- There is no participation fee for selected attendees.
- Travel grants are available to support participants who require financial assistance.
