The Australia–France Indo-Pacific Studies (AFIPS) Visiting Fellowship is a prestigious program for early-career researchers in the social sciences. Spend up to three months in Australia, advancing your research, building international collaborations, and contributing to a shared understanding of key challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
Program Details:
- Host Organization: Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA)
- Focus Areas: Social science research, networking, and collaboration on themes such as foreign policy, climate change, migration, trade, demography, gender equality, cultural and economic development, and Indigenous knowledge.
- Duration: Up to three months at one or more Australian research organizations.
Funding & Benefits:
- Generous Stipend: Receive up to AUD 18,900 (approximately EUR 11,316) to cover travel expenses, a living allowance in Australia, and costs associated with participation in conferences, workshops, seminars, or fieldwork.
