Financial Benefits
This is a fully funded scholarship. The award covers all major expenses for the duration of the Master’s program.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of (or hold refugee status in) a low or middle-income Commonwealth country.
- Education: Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree and meet the specific entry requirements for their chosen Master’s course at a partner university.
- Residency: Applicants must apply for a QECS award in a country other than their home country or country of citizenship.
- Age: There is no upper age limit to be eligible for the award.
Application Process/Application Cycle: The application window for the 2026/2027 cohort is expected to open in late 2025. There are typically two application cycles per year.
To apply, candidates must first identify a course at a partner university that is eligible for the QECS award. The application is then submitted through the official QECS portal. The application includes questions about your academic background, work experience, and a series of personal statements outlining your leadership potential and development objectives.
